ABOUT
Scope
The FVG PhD Symposium 2013 is the first meeting in Friuli Venezia Giulia
organized by PhD students for PhD Students.
After the great success of the Interdisciplinary PhD Spring School 2013, the University of Trieste, the University of Udine, and
SISSA now propose an Interdisciplinary Symposium on crosscutting topics on Nanotechnology, Biomedicine, and Bioinformatics.
The aim of the Symposium is to encourage communication among PhD students coming from the three fields of research.
The Programme will be mainly devoted to presentation of PhD students' work.
Both Registration and Participation at the Symposium are free of charge for the PhD students of the University of Trieste, the University of Udine, and SISSA.
There are also several places available for free accommodation in Grado.
Priority will be given to attendants who will present a contribution.

Registration
Participation to the Symposium is free of charge for the PhD students of the University of Trieste,
the University of Udine, and SISSA.
Early registration is required and must be done by September 10th, 2013.

Submission
Abstract submissions are accepted exclusively through the template attached to the invitation mail.
Abstracts should be sent to infophdsymposium@gmail.com
not later than August 15th, 2013.
Registration is required - and must be done within the deadline - also for PhD students who submit a contribution.
Topics of interest are in the fields of Nanotechnology, Biomedicine, and Bioinformatics.
